In P95 temps reach TJ Max (99C)...
When idle its about 40-42C

I've reapplied thermal paste a few times to be sure its ok.
BIOS settings I guess are default.

Intel XEON X3440 (box cooling)
DFI LanParty DK P55-T3eH9 LGA1156
Galaxy GeForce GTS250 1GB DDR3/256b D/H LP
4 x DDR3 Goodram 2GB PC1333 CL9
OCZ Stealthxstream 2 500W
4 x 500GB HD502HJ SATA II 16MB (RAID 10)

No idea what to do...

Use coretemp or hwmonitor, could be a faulty sensor or software misreading it.

TJ Max @ 99c @ idle is high.

Sounds like your thermal paste isnt right or the cooler isn't doing its job.

If your case has a depth of 152mm or more, than I recommend the Hyper212+ to cool that beast.

Also the screen shot you gave is at its lowest speed, you need to disable the cpu speed option within the bios to get the cpu at full speed at its highest voltages of around 1.4v.

I'm waiting for new thermal paste to be delivered. Will see if it'll show any change... (i have ceramic now, ordered diamond one)

I'd rather leave it on lower speed since at the moment I can't afford to risk stability of my machine (lots of rendering to do...).

Hyper212+ looks nice and quite cheap I will consider purchasing it but I'd like to know what's wrong with my pc first. I've seen many people with same cpu (and cooling) and temps from 35 to 70C...

Thanks for your time!
