About to thow in the towel! Help needed with new build.

Well, I'm having issues. I have everything hooked up and when I power my system up the power just cycles on in short pulses. The fans run for about 1 second then power off, then they run for 1 second, then power off. This happens until I unplug the power unit. Also, I have no picture on my monitor.

Thanks for the help. Both power connectors are in the motherboard and the video card is connected to the PSU as well. Actually, I get the same results when I disconnect the video card completely.

I'd say its your PSU. If you are able to, get a PSU that is known to work fine (from a friend perhaps) and try it out with that. If your system works then it was your PSU, if not its time to start re-seating everything.

Yes its definitely enough, even if you were running crossfire, but you've perhaps got a faulty part or broken connection somewhere inside your PSU. The power regulation circuits are incredibly fragile and may break on unlucky occasions.
