Asus mobo and corsair ram

Hi all,
I was looking at getting a Asus M4A79XTD EVO 790X motherboard and 4gb 1600mhz Corsair Dominator ram (cmp4gx3m2a1600c8). The problem is non of the Dominator ram is on the list of compatibility for this motherboard.

The only reasons i was looking at getting this board was due to the 1600mhz without overclocking and it has pci-e x16 x2 ( dual 8x) not 16x + 4x.

The reason i was looking at getting this ram was because i have always used Cosair ram and never once had a problem.

So i was just wondering if anyone had this set up or could direct me in any way, i am looking to go x/fire in the future but i dont like to overclock.

Any help would be great, if you need any other information pls ask.

Thanks

Whats the voltage on those ram modules? If they are the standard 1.5v they should boot and you'll be able to set your timings manually.
I'm not so sure whats the default ddr3 voltage on the board though, you may need a cheap ram stick to manually boost the ram voltage, then swap them out. If the sticks are 1.5-1.65v you'll be fine and they should boot.
