Upgrading problem

Hello, My pc is a Celeron D 325 (2.53GHZ), 128MB DDR RAM, 40GB HDD, 32MB DMA. I want to upgrade to 1GB or 2GB DDR RAM, which is compatible for my pc comparing between DDR1 and DDR2?

Celeron D 325 uses the old socket 478 which uses DDR RAM - to find out what speed RAM you currently have in your PC
