I built a computer recently, and it started to freeze in the BIOS when I changed to change any settings. I called ASUS support, and they told me to tell them the 3.3V, 5V, and 12V readings in the hardware monitor. I told them my settings (3.376V, 5.126V, and 12.376V, respectively.) The tech support guy said that the 12V was off, and that the power supply was causing the problem. Is that really the problem, or was the guy just trying to blame the PSU company?

Computer Specs:

CPU: i5 750
GPU: EVGA GTX 470
PSU: Corsair TX850W
RAM: Patriot Sector 5 2x2GB PGV34G1600ELK
