Problem with installed games on win 7

I have reinstalled win 7 after a crash and I clicked on the games folder like i did before they all came up, but on trying to play any of them they freeze and explorer says there is a problem with them. I never had a problem like this before and I have installed win 7 on several laptops ( my own) can you advise.

You have to re-install the games, before you can play them. Are they in the correct folder for the specific game?

The games were in the correct folder I opened the folder all the games were there but as I opened them they were unable to play and explorer notified that there was a problem with them. So I wiped out win 7 pro and reinstalled win 7 home the problem was gone.
Win 7 pro was the problem.
