Your opinion on my system

Hi I just decided to build a system which was not really easy especially my last system was a P3-800.

I am not a heavy gamer, I do like once in a while to play some games. But my son does. So the system I ordered is an inbetween system, which hope it lasts me a good 5 to 8 years :lol:

Monitor ........................ LG W2353v
Motherboard................. Asus P7P55D-1156
Processor.................... Intel I5-750 Plan to buy in 3 months ( I will be away down south).
Hard Drive................... Seagate Barracuda 7200.12.500GB Sata2 7200 rpm 16mb
Video card................. AsusGF Gt240 550mhz 1024mb DDR3 pci-e
RAM......................... OCZ Ocz3p1333lv4gk 4Gb DDRE 2x2GB DDR3-1333 -10666
dvd r/w .................. pioneer salvaged from my old pc
midtower............... Lfiaya Xa-51qbk comes with a 480W power supply.

the the power supply is a generic one, but according to my calculations it should do.

Please let me know if this system is compatible. pros and cons are welcomed. tia

I plan to run this under WinDows XP Pro, cause I have some laser printer that are not supported under vista and more likely win-7

please use the thread on how to ask for help. I don't know your budget, what you need, when you want to buy it, what country,ect. all you have to o is copy paste.

I am from Canada. My objective was to spend no more than $800. can for a system I think its worth a little over $1,000. If I were have bought at a computer store in Montreal.
The above has already been purchased and its still hasn't been shipped. So I still have some time to make some mods.
