Hey guys, this is my first post here and I hope that I posted in the correct section, sorry if I did not.

Now, after looking up some information about my memory and cpu, I found out that the 920 locks over a certain amount of memory clock speed in its MCC. I would like to know I should enter in the BIOS so I can run my memory at stock (1600Mhz). My mobo is Asus P6T Deluxe V2 so I know I will be able to. I just do not want to overclock or mess with my cpu (for now).

Thanks and any information will be appreciated!

You go to your DRAM settings in your BIOS.
Click on manual, which should bring up where you can set your timings.
Change the settings in your BIOS (first five) to match the timings on your actual stick of RAM; example 7-7-7-20-2T

Set your RAM voltage to match what is on your RAM (don't exceed 1.65v!!)

Save and exit...
