Mklink and Performance

Here's my situation: I have a solid state, and a hard drive, and would like to save space on my SSD; so I created symbolic links for my steam application and origin application, which are the root folders for all the games installed under those clients. Will symbolic link references to locations of those folders stored on the HDD, make the game perform worse in game? I'm not concerned with load speeds.

Thanks!

More about mklink performance
  1. Videos shot on your camcorder are always AVI format. If you want to enjoy them on TV player with family or friends at home, you'd like to burn them into DVD at first. With a professional DVD creator, you can easily burn avi to DVD.
Aimersoft DVD Creator is an ideal DVD burning software that not only allows you to convert AVI to DVD, but also let you edit videos with ease. Besides AVI, you can also burn other video formats into DVD, such as MP4, WMV, MKV, FLV, etc. If you are a Mac user, you can turn to Aimersoft DVD Creator for Mac to burn AVI to DVD on Mac, including Mac OS X Lion.

  2. Well that's kind of a lame reply. :(
  3. Mlinks should not have any performance issues. Nothing noticable anyhow.
