Which is better in terms of:

1. oc capability on i7 920 d0 to 4.0ghz(just 4.0, no more than that.)
2. features (do 2oz copper and ultra durable 3 make a big impact on performance of mobo?)
3. spacing on the pci-e slot (x16)
4. do both mobos' nb heatsink handle the heat on them?

Thanks!

comparing apples and oranges here.

x58a is a usb 3.0 and sata 6gb/s board.
p6t deluxe v2 is a 6 month old board that doesn't support either.
look at
Asus P6X58D instead

Both boards will hit 4.0 if you have the cooling.

2oz copper supposedly insures a more even heating across the board

The asus has much better pci-e spacing

The 1366 NB runs hot, but nothing that should concern you. Not nearly as bad as the p45 for example.

Asus has 16+2 voltage, Gigabyte is only 12+2.

Asus offers MemOK which forces non-compliant (vendor qualified) ram to post so you can adjust the timings.

Take your pick, they're both fine boards.

thanks for the reply, does the difference between the phases (gb has 12+2, asus 16+2) do really much?also, is it hard to post a ram that is not vendor qualified?last, about the spacing, the asus has better, but if i go with the gb, would there be any issues in two cards not fitting?or just the heat? I will be using haf 932... Thanks!
