Try erasing the DVD, then drag files to it.

when you drag files in your dvd you will see the option in left side of the screen "write these file on cd/dvd" click that.

thanks for the reply, i just wanted to ask if i could delete some the files from the dvd rw after the steps shown by u in case i need to? or do i need to format the whole disk even if i need some files just to delete the unwanted files?
