Best thermal compound?

I am looking for a thermal paste that will work good for high performance coolers and i5/i7 CPUs for less than $4/gram. Any suggestions?

I've heard lots of, 'Arctic Silver 5!' What makes Arctic Cooling MX4 better?

Those tests are total garbage he had room temps from 12c ~ 26c.

Look at the chart yourself henydiah, you've recommended this same review many times.

Check the link in my sig. all the tests were run at 23c ambient room temperature, under the exact same circumstances, each thermal compound was tested under the exact same clamping pressure, same room temperature, they all were fairly evaluated.

How could anyone claim any type of fairness in a testing review with room temperature differences that great?

As well known as you are here, how could you recommend that review?

At least read what you're recommending.
  5. ooh my bad , i'm sorry .. yeah your link http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/274824-29-thermal-compound-roundup-2011 very great @ryan ... next i will recommend that guide .. thanks your attention :)
  6. Prolimatech's PK1 is some good thermal compound too. http://skinneelabs.com/2011-thermal-paste-review-comparison/2/
  7. I use the Thermaltake TG1 and have no complains about it.

Easy to apply and remove, no cure time, and lasts for a long time.

I cleaned my rig last week and changed the compound I had applied 8 months ago, and it was looking fresh new, it didn't get dry or anything.
