Help For A High-end Pc

Hello everyone.
I did some research for a gaming pc and came up with the following parts.

Core i5 750
Gskill Ripjaws 4gb
1 TB WD hard disk
Cooler Master HAF 932 Cabinet
RAZER LYCOSA and RAZER DEATHADDER gaming keyboard and mouse

Please could you all tell me if this configuration would be good enough for gaming??
And i haven't mentioned the MOTHERBOARD and the POWER SUPPLY because i really don't know which one to buy along with a CORE i5 processor..
I have another question.. Should i go for a CORE i7 920 processor instead of CORE i5 750 ??
Please guide me..
I have a budget of 1200 $..
Thanks and Regards to all..

  1. Looks good to me, with a budget of $1200 you -could- go with an i7, but you'd have to cut out other stuff.
  2. please could you tell me which stuff can i cancel out and what should i put in place of that??
  3. I'd say to stick with the i5. It'll be a great gaming PC and you won't have to cut corners.
would that all be available in a budget of 1200$ ?
  5. If you want a wd, the WD Caviar Black 1TB WD1001FALS is a very good choice. However I would choose the Samsung Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB.
PSU: The Corsair HX750 is amazing and not too expensive.
thanks mate.. but what about the motherboard.. i need help for that as well..

Here's the build based on the suggested PSU and your parts. Still missing a motherboard, though. But, yes, you'll be within budget.

Switching to the Spinpoint may save a few dollars and they are good hard drives. You can't go wrong with either one.

    This is from, btw.

If you want a 1366 motherboard, sure, I can help you, but I am sure that here there is a lot of people who can give you a better advice about a 1156 mobo. I´m sorry. Anyway, I can tell you that I would choose an ASUS one.
  10. Here's some boards to consider. Stick with a P55 chipset. Agreed, Asus is an excellent brand. Also check Gigabyte and MSI for (usually) excellent boards.
  11. thanks to all for the help.. really appreciate it..

    thanks a ton mate..
  12. Good luck. I so love building a new computer (built mine back in September). Let us know how the build goes! And if you order the parts, I'd appreciate a best answer response. :)
  13. sure man.. your answer was the best.. no doubts about that.. but i have a very major problem.. how can i ship the parts to india? cuz that's where i live.. i bet won't do that..

  15. Thanks (I'm female, btw). Yeah, sorry, I don't think Newegg ships to India. :(. Maybe others around here know the best online place to order for India. You can still take the list, look for the same parts at whichever store, check that pricing is okay, and go from there.
  16. oh i'm sorry.. i apologize.. and a ton of thanks for your help on the parts.. will surely tell you how my stuff is working out.. thanks again..
