How i connect my laptop to my pc using bridge cable for data transfer

Hi i would lyk to know how to conect my laptop and desktop together to share and transfer files.

plug network cable into laptop. plug other end into desktop. assuming one of them is a Gigabit port, and you just want to transfer some files right now that would be easiest.

you could also get a wifi adapter for the desktop and set up an adhoc wifi network. if you really want to share files or internet you really should get a router and set up a proper home network
