RAM on sale...should i get instead?

I have a p7p555d -e pro, sorry for leaving that out. Thanks for the quick response, I thought for core i5 /mobo the dual channel was best? I heard 8 GB was overkill for a mostly gaming PC.

Tried Googling your Mobo, I only get 3 swedish hits lol,
in general though, if your Mobo has the faciliity for dual/triple channel on memory lanes, youre going to get the best results from using that,
Maybe someone else can chip in later, not sure what time americans wake up

You got four Dimm slots which suggests to me dual channel, so no triplechannel issues there,If you think the Shellshock things a deal, compare the two products to check similarites, cl timings etc,(Lower they are,faster the ram runs) and go from there, I got to get some sleep now man, nightshifts
