Installing a case fan without screws

Twist ties or wires I have used in the past. Another option is to take two screws out of a preinstalled case fan (it will still have 2 and be stable) and use to install your new fan.

Take one case fan screw to your local hardware store or hobby shop. I buy mine at my Local Ace Hardware store. They are very very inexpensive - just a few pennies each.

When I saw the title of your thread I was expecting to see a question about the rubber fasteners used to reduce fan vibration.

That's what came into my mind.

I used Electric tape  
Works fine.

zip ties work wonders as well 

Thanks guys, I used a combination of metal wire and electric ties. Works great.
