Disabling onboard vga on Acer Aspire m610

can anyone tell me how to diable the onboard graphics chip on an acer Aspire M1610 as i have installed a new graphics card but my primary graphics controller is still listed as an SIS mirage 3+?

You must enter the BIOS setup screen and disable the onboard graphics. this is done when you first turn on the computer and before windows loads. you will see a ACER screen and it will say something like "to enter setup hit the F1 key" in your case in may be F2 or DEL or F10 just look for it as soon as you power on your computer within the first 20 seconds.

yeah im not an idiot, there is no option to disable vga in bios
