Hi everyone!

My old Samsung monitor stopped working some time ago and now I want to buy a new one. I thought that BenQ E2420HD 24" Full HD would be cool. I have GeForce 9800 GTX + graphics card. Will these two work together nicely? I'm bit confused with all these Full HD things and all kinds of connectors VGA, HDMI etc.

Thank you in advance! :)

The old resolution was 1680x1050. I mainly need more space to see while I work but yes I'll also use it for gaming/great realtime graphics. I'm not just sure if they can simply work together? "Old" graphics card and Full HD monitor and all those different connectors etc. if you know what I mean? :??:

they'll work together, yes, but you'll probably see a performance drop in gaming at the higher resolution. Your 9800 should still be able to handle all of your graphics work with ease but you likely will not be able to play new games at high settings on a 1900x1080 monitor.

The "full HD" is just saying that it can play at 1080 resolution (like 1080p from blu-rays and PS3 etc.)
