EVO Notebook N1015V

The oval Scroll Button below the TouchPad on my Compaq Evo
Notebook n1015v has never worked. Is there any software that
I should install to get it to operate as intended? I
have tried Hewlett Packard (who provide Tech Support for
this notebook) but have got no response from them yet. I am
interested to hear from anyone out there who has this model
of laptop and finds that the scroll button is okay. Please
reply to the newsgroup.
