E-SATA and SATA...??

hiii.........guys

i have a core i3 with intel dh55tc and my mobo has 6 sata ports i.e 4 sata and 2 esata ports as it is mentioned on it and its colour is also different....is there any advantage in speed over sata ports.....what is the ESATA port for???and if i wanna use it how can i use them???

  1. E-SATA stands for external sata devices.....i don't think it there will be any marginal performance difference between the two..... :)
