One large SSD Vs. SSD in RAID-0?

Hi all,

I was looking to get the Crucial M4 256GB but wanted to consider if I should get one larger SSD or go for two smaller SSDs in an RAID-0 config. I'm not sure if SSD in raid0 is even possible or worth the effort (I have no idea what extra work it would entail) so I figured I'd ask here.

Thanks all

Certainly possible, but not really worth the effort if you can afford a 256g drive. At least for now you lose TRIM. Recall that the slowest ssds are 85% better than a fast hdd, and the fastest ssds are 88% faster.
