I work at home and use two 28" monitors side by side connected to my work laptop and have two 22" monitor on top of each other connected to my personal desktop PC. Now when I am not working I would like to be able to use the two 28" monitors for browsing and maybe some games. I have a EVGA 9400GT connected to the two 22" monitors now. I have another PCI-E x16 slot on my motherboard. Can I just get any video card in there to connect to the two 28" monitors or would I need to get an Nvidia one since my 9400GT is Nvidia? What model would be powerful enough to play games using both 28" monitors? They are at 1920x1200.
Would I be better off not using the 9400GT and get two cards that match and using Crossfire which my motherboard supports?
