Cpu overheating even after cleaning pc and re-applying thermal paste

Recently my CPU (AMD Phenom II x6 1100t) has been overheating idleing at around 50C and maxing over 60 which is way to hot for this cpu. I first tried dusting out my computer which dropped the temps by 1-2 degrees but it was still overheating so i re-applied the thermal paste but ITS STILL OVERHEATING! My only other idea is that maybe it has something to do with my radiator but i dont know anything about it. Here's a picture of my cooler. Any ideas!?

More about overheating cleaning applying thermal paste
  1. Mate, its f*****. all you can do now is turn that *** ghetto and take a p*** on it every time it gets hot.
  2. I would look into purchasing another cooler for your setup. My Phenom II overclocked at idle is at 21C. Look into a good air cooler or buy another water cooler
  3. Any suggestions?, My motherboard is very small and i'm worried the ram will get in the way if i a buy a cooler that is too large.

Except mine is a slightly older version but i couldn't find it. But i presume its very similar.

    Thanks
