Hi,

I currently am using an Antec 1000 Watt PSU with 2 6 pin and 2 8 pin PCI-e connectors.(http://www.newegg.com/product/product.aspx?item=N82E168... ) I want to purchase a second GTX-260 and run them in SLI. My question is, is there such a thing as a 8 pin PCI-e adapter to 6 pin? Would something like this ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... ) work? Any help or guidance would be greatly appriciated!

The specifications on newegg say the pci-e cables are "2 x 6-Pin, 2 x 6+2-Pin"
6+2 means they can be used for either a 6 pin or 8 pin connector.
