NZXT Nemesis Elite Modding

i have a NZXT Nemesis Elite case and i dont use the top part of the case the usb and firewire input part of the case with the flip out temp reading part do to the face that the case is on the bookshelf area of my desk and my case is out of reach when it comes to plugging in cables that high. i was thinking about removing the display part and going to put a fan in the place of the display. i was wondering if anyone has done something like this and has any knowledge of what im going to expect when i get into it. i plan on putting a 120mm fan in the hole i will make after removing the display. i have a starter hole from the opening that the cables run threw. any help would be awesome
