Guys,
I'm getting the Maximus V Extreme and I already have the 3770K. Which CPU thermal/cooler/fan will be the best if I want to OC upto say.. 4.7Ghz? or 5? :D

I have a 700w PSU and a Corsair Carbide 500r (4 fans included, 3 140mm, 1 200mm I think).

:)

Don't bump.

Do you have a budget?

If you want to hit 4.5ghz+ You're going to need a custom watercooling loop.

Great! I can get the noctua one. I hope it won't block my RAM slot on PCI-E slot?

Also, how is the Xigmatec Prime SD1484?

Just remove the first fan to access the RAM slot.

The whole point is just to install and let it go, not to keep tweaking around and reinstalling and disassembling parts.

I'm not sure if your motherboard can fit inside of your case.

I asked someone in the chassis/cases section and he said it will! And I think it will, it's a huge case. Not at all like a mid tower. Its like a hybrid haha.

EATX is slightly wider than ATX, so you won't have that much room.

But, the Phanteks will fit ;)

actually according to the specs it won't the 500R only supports Micro ATX / ATX the maximus v extreme is a EATX so if it will fit it's not suppose to hahaha

EATX has the same mounting holes as ATX, but it is just slightly wider.

Found it in the 500R club ;)

That's a Rampage III Extreme (EATX), the predecsor the X79 Rampage Extreme.
