More about seeking advice build
  1. Everything looks good. You will want to boost your GPU power a little bit. Grab a 4870 or 5770 and you won't have any problems with those games. On a side note, you could save some money by getting a pair of Mushkin, G.Skill, or OCZ RAM. They will have better timings and lower pricing.
  2. I prefer Gigabyte motherboards:

And almost trivial, but the Antec case does not come with a system speaker.
If you case or motherboard didn't come with a system speaker you can buy one here: http://www.cwc-group.com/casp.html
  3. This build has one major issue: The motherboard you chose only supports DDR3 1333Mhz RAM, but you chose 1600 Mhz RAM. While it will still work, its a waste of speed. So...
You should get this combo which gets you both a better Motherboard and CPU for the same price: GIGABYTE GA-P55A-UD3 and Intel Core i5-750 - $320
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.319613

Your Heatsink needs to be changed because it does not fit the socket type of your motherboard (1156). Get the ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 - $30

*This heatsink is easy to install and works really well

The Case, PS, RAM, HD, DVD, monitor, and thermal compound are all good

I would recommend upgrading your graphics card to a Radeon 5770.
    SAPPHIRE Vapor-X 100283VXL Radeon HD 5770 Combo with Free Game - $175

  4. +1^ for Bohley, like you took the words from my mouth. The RAM choice could be a little more cost-effective by going with G Skill or OCZ. The Video card is not bad, but if you're gaming @ 1650 x 1250, go with a 4870 or higher equivalent.

Mushkin is a good brand, i can vouch as i am running 4gb chip kit wit no problem
  6. if your gonna go 640GB HDD you might as well spend the extra 10 or 15 dollars and get a 1TB you wont regret it. make a small partition (60 to 100GB) to run your OS and core prorams, then you got allll that space for media files. and lesser important programs.
  7. I would switch the i5 - 650 to the i5 - 750, since they are the same price... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115215 and the i5 - 750 actually outperforms the i5 650... http://www.anandtech.com/cpuchipsets/showdoc.aspx?i=3704&p=12

I would switch to the Samsung Spinpoing F3 500GB or 1TB hard drives. They are both faster than the WD blacks.
