Cant read end of files - fat 32 500gb disk

I have a USB 500 GB drive attached to a Satellite Decoder PVR. It is formatted as FAT 32 by the decoder unit. The problem is that when I view the files with my Win 7 computer, I don't get the end of the movies. I can however using the decoder box. Thoughts and solutions welcomed.

FAT32 supports up to 4GB files. If the movie on your PVR is over 4GB, it will be truncated when copied to the USB drive.
