Intel i7 920 L3 cache shows 8 KB in windows 7

My computer property shows only 8 KB as L3 Cache for I7 920 processor based PC. Why? I am using windows 7 - 64 bit operating system

What program are you using to get this number? Try CPUID's CPU-Z and see what it reports, however I doubt there is an issue, since if the chip were really that messed up, it would not be working.

Intel must have run out of cache and shorted you. That stinks!
