K9a motherboard and xfx 5770 not compatable?

Has anybody had a problem installing the xfx5770 videocard on a k9a motherboard ?

Apparently there's an issue with the PCI-E 2.0 cards and the AMD 580X chipset which the MSI K9A Platinum (that's what I'm assuming yours is) motherboard is based on, and looking through all the threads so far it doesn't seem like it'll work.

Ya thats the motherboard . well guess i should replace but that really sucks cause it still runs great

i got 650 watt power supply with about 20 4pin and 6pin connectors its not power problem .im thinking there just not updating the bios for profit reasons.
