i have just downloaded CyberLink's PowerProducer 2.0 to evaluate and am
trying to use it to edit out the commercials on some of the shows I recorded
with my 5080. I am having some problems and am stuck. Can anyone out there
explain to me how to do it?

I have figured out how to 'trim' sections, but can't seem to quite put it
all together and get all of the commercials out and then merge it all back
together.

thanks in advance,

TB

The editor of choice for Replay is womble and its big brother Mpeg
Wizard. Wizard even loads the Replay evt file and uses it to bookmark
the commercials. you can then just cut them and fuse all of the
segments. To author, DVDLab is the choice. The whole process takes just
minutes because nothing has to be re-encoded.

Try videoredo. It took me about tens minutes to edit out the commercials
in an hour show. I wish they made it for mac osx. I have tried lots of
programs and found this one to be the easiest for editing out commercials.

Also, the timing the replay used to mark commercials was totally useless.
The marks weren't even close.
