Hello,
i have asus p5smxse mobo. if u read the user reviews, it also says that it's not a good mobo for gaming. Here is my cpu setup

Processor: intel Core 2 Duo 2.2 Ghz
Motherboard : Asus p5smxse
Hard drive: 80 Gb Maxtor
PSU: 350 Watts
Standard CD Rom

at this setup. my pc cannot even run NFS Most Wanted smoothly. I had to keep the graphics at there lowest to play the game. i bought the 9800gt card and intalled it. Even with the graphics card, i had to lower the graphics in the game to play CRYSIS. Honestly, i have seen people playing games like crysis, prince of persia and COD4 on Pentium 4 PCs with 9500gt 512MB cards smoothly with high graphics. My Question is if these games can run on p4s with 512 cards than why can't thy run smoothly on my core 2 duo with 1 GB card. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!. Oh! ! more thing in my previous post i said that i am looking for a budget gaming mobo. well! i am a currently considering to buy XFX 630i board. can u guide me about it, u know is it a good board or whatever. Thanks

Hello and welcome to the forums
First of all,a 9500GT can't max out those games(maybe COD4 and POP on a low resolution but on Crysis its not possible).
What resolution do you play at ? also have you tried COD4 and POP ? or you have only tried Crysis ?

I have played CRYSIS, COD MODERN WARFARE & Modern Warfare 2. i play games on 1024 by 768 resolution. I want to say one more thing that when i play counter strike, my fps does not go above 60 but the same game on my friend's PC shows 99 fps. I have tried everything. but nothing works. is it a hardware problem?
