Upgrading my 720 X3

I currently have a phenom 720 unlocked 4th core at 3.6ghz. Im going to be buying a 5970 and would like to know if it would be better for me to buy me the new phenom 6core too? I heard its coming out in April.

No. I think that PII X3 720 with fourth core unlocked and OC'd won't have any problems, especially if you're gaming on high res.

Your CPU is enough to handle that card.
You don't need a x6 for it.

It'll run just fine
