Hi guys,
I've used rtvpatch on my 3030 a few times, and I just got a 5080 with a
bum drive. I took the 80 gig drive I had in my 3030 and formatted it,
then used rtv5040_110.zip from
http://rgb.cc/replaytv/images/replay/50xx/?C=S;O=D to restore to the
drive.
I jumpered it properly, plugged it in, and then powered it on. I get
the initial Replay boot screen that says 'One moment please...'
It's sat there for a while now, about a half hour. When I patched my
3030, it would sit there for a couple minutes, then switch off.
Any tips?

Tried that, no luck. I switched hard drives (the first one failed
Maxtor's smart test) with a known good one and restored the 5072 image
and patched it, it now sticks at the "Please wait..." screen. Thoughts?

This happens when the Replay detects some error (such as a bad disk or
software corruption). It would help if the Replay would actually tell
you WHAT error it is rather than just rebooting.
