I just realized that my i5 doesnt have a f***ing "k" at the end of it. The person who worked at ncix gave me the wrong one. -.- I have already installed my cpu two days ago. Is it even possible to overclock a 3570 (no "k"). If it is possible, to what extent? I don't wanna pay the 15% restocking fee ncix requires you to pay. -.-

you can raise the multiplier up to the turbo boost speed, so 3800MHz, so if you want to do any big overclocking then you have to go with unlocked chips

if they gave you the wrong one then it's ncix fault.
call and complain, get your K version for free exchange..

called them, they said they will call back, they never did...

Would i need a high, low, or stock cooler to do so?
