  1. Yes, u can, but with the lowest setting... :)
If u want to gaming then don't pick up 9400GT, that's too weak..
  2. i own 9400gt 1gb ddr2
i can play nfs shift all high resolution 1024 * 768 and anitialising off
card is good for low budget

if you can spend more buy 9600gt

and dont see the memory generally many people think more memory means more the speed it not actually with the graphic card

Yes, u are right, more bigger memory doesn't mean better performance, yes but just a little... :)
NFS is relatively an easy game for GPU, and with only just 1024x768 then 9400GT is just enough as u said before, but the newest games right now are asking higher specs requirement to be played, so 9400GT DDR2 is not good, go with at least 9800GT...
  4. well more the money better the graphic card see the budget
  5. A 9400GT is an improvment over integrated graphics [as is, its supported]; thats about it. Bare minimum would be a 9500GT (which is still weak, but more adequete). A ATI 4670 is probably the best low-cost gaming card out there, so take a look at that too...
