Anyone checked out the new Sony S series?
I like the 13 in. widescreen form factor, but am not a very big Sony fan.
Anyone know of other machines with this form factor, especially with
dedicated video memory?

Fewer and fewer 13" have separate video
chips with dedicated memory. Among the
few that still do are the Panasonics
TB 50, 51 and 73.

Pardon me for asking, what application do
you run for which shared video memory is
an unsufferable bottleneck?
