Motherboard Problem?

I'm trying to fix my friends computer and would like some input on the problem. It's a HP Pavilion a350n and it wont turn on. It will turn on if I unplug the main 20-pin power connecter and the 4-pin connector from the motherboad (Asus P4SD-LA) and plug them back in while the power supply is plugged in the wall. The only problem is if the computer is ever unplugged you have to repeat this action. The green light on the back of the power supply is blinking and i followed HP guide, its solid green when all the power connectors are unplugger so Im assuming it is good. Any help would be appreciated

  1. Hi newcomer and welcome to the Tom's hardware forum.

Test the rig with another PSU if that doesn't work maybe the mobo is the problem.
