So I decided to do an "upgrade" on my Graphics Card, mind you I didn't have the money at the time so I went with what I could get used or bought.

I had and currently have a Intel GMA 950 the onboard chipset on this board:
ASUS P5GC-MX/1333
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16813131243

Now I have a BFG NVIDIA GeForce 6600 OC 512MB PCIe http://www.bfgtech.com/bfgr66512oce.aspx

My issue is that the onboard works fine, but im having problems with the 6600 , I've tested the card in another computer and it is working fine. When the external card is plugged in, and onboard is disabled the screen remains black and I can hear windows startup. Ive also tried not disabling the onboard and I get the same result with the vga cable plugged into ethier slot. After failed attempts, I have to remove the external video card and reboot the system to restore my video.

My thoughts were it could be the power supply, I am not sure what the wattage is on the one I have cause like a mystery can of food theres no wattage wrote on it...

Any help is appreiciated.
