Hi all - I wanted to upgrade my graphics card (at the moment I have a nVidia 8800GTS) and I sought advice on this forum. It was answered well, but when I've come to look back through as I'm now in a position to buy, I don't have ANY threads that the system can find!

Firstly, is this normal behaviour?
Second, a good car to replace the 8800GTS please? I think I might also upgrade to Win7.

Thanks

I'm not trying to sound like a d!ck, but don't you think it would be helpful if you listed your system specs and also your budget, so that people can recommend the best suitable card for you.

It may be that a mod deleted the thread as your question may have been answered.

That' exactly what I mean - I've posted here before my question about the graphics card - but "My Threads" drawn zero results.

Thanks all also, for your replies, I'll check out those cards.
(quick question, I run 2x monitors on one card at the moment, to get 3x monitors I need to get dual cards?)

What about the manufacturers these days? AIT/nVidia/ etc... any preference?

If you were to get a ATi 5850 you could run 3 monitors off that 1 card using a new technology called eyefinity.

That sounds cool, thanks, perhaps the 5850 is the one to go for, it sounds relatively future-proof too....

I don't think you mentioned your PSU, make sure your PSU is at least 550W and a good quality brand

Oops - Its a Corsair 650W.
