People have been saying that GW2 is pretty CPU intensive so I was thinking about finally overclocking my i5 2500k. I have never overclocked before so I have a few questions I hope some of you more experienced guys could answer for me.

First off, is it even worth overclocking for GW2? I have a GTX560ti and 8gb RAM. Will the game even make use of the overclocked speeds?

Secondly, I used this guide:
http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/cpus/2011/01/07/how-to-overclock-the-intel-core-i5-2500k/4

to overclock it when I first built my computer since it gives step by step for the same motherboard I have (GA-P67a-UD4) and when I ran Prime95 the temps got up to 75c and were around 45 idle. Is that too high? If I were to lower the overclock which I'm assuming is the core ratio (which in the guide is 4.50Ghz) would I also have to re-adjust the voltages and all of the other settings to compensate the lower CPU ratio?

Thanks in advanced to anyone who can help me.

I think it's always worth it to overclock as long as you can keep it cool. 75C is fine. What cooler do you have and how did you test and for how long? I have the 2500K with a Hyper 212 Plus overclocked to 5.0 Ghz. It's not stable when I stress test with Prime95 but it hasn't crashed when gaming. My temps never go over 65C when playing Skyrim.
For an overclock of 4.5 Ghz, I've been told 1.30 to 1.35 core voltage is normal. Mine was stable at 1.330 core voltage for over 8 hours stress testing with Prime95 version 27.7 (newest one).
