CPU just beeps continually at boot up time

Hello,
We have A cpu that won't get beyond steady beeping at post?

have to cut power to get it to quit! Appreciate any thoughts Woody

Welcome Newcomer. If you listen carefully, you will observe a pattern to the beeping. For example: 1 long, 2 short. A pattern like this would me that your RAM is either bad or not installed (or not installed well).

Figure out what the beep patern is, then go to PC Hell to understand what is causing the error codes.
