Corrupt OS - Can\'t get into a normal boot

My computer will come up to the welcome screen and go no further. What's wrong and how can i fix it?

Boot from windows CD & repair the OS.

if it will come up to the welcome screen then you might be able to go to safe mode. Try a System restore then.
Or by "going no further" U mean, U click on user and nothing happens? If so, it might be a corrupted profile. Try and make a new user in safe mode, and see if it works in normal mode.
