Read Write is very Slow

I have 2 nos of smasung portable HDD having Model HM321HI, When i want to copy even if a file of 10MB then it takes more then 10-15 Min. Other than these 2 HDD if i am putting any other HDD's they are wroking fine. Even If 1TB is also working fine.
I think there might be some problem with the media, So i request you to kindly tell me what to do, how can i solve this problem.

What's your Spec? your OS HDD is probably either going to die or you have the USB 1.1
