What budget do u have? and please post all the other components that u have and the plans that u have with the rig. I mean if u want Crossfire or SLI and OC.

Two very good options are this:

1- ASUS P6X58D-E
2- Gigabyte X58-UD3R

Hi saint19, budget isn't a problem, i still an amateur, but i've learn something's over the last 2 years. I don't know what i want to do in computing science yet, maybe a programmer, a designer or even a gamer but one thing i'm sure i love technology in particular PCs, that's why i want to build an updated one. I already have a corsair TX650W but i'm i'll try to change it to a HX750W, i think it's enough to do a Crossfire with two Asus EAH5850 voltage tweak that i'm planning to buy, the case i have is a corsair OBSIDIAN 800D, the cpu i want is a core i7 930 2.80Ghz 8MB please tell me what you think of it, the motherboard i think i'll go for the asus P6X58D-E that you suggested or do you have others suggestions for me about the "mobo"?.
