If you are meaning 1.0 then not much. It is just the most powerful cards like GTX295 and HD5970 that would get affected.

I'm planning to upgrade from EVGA 9800 GT Superclocked to MSI Radeon HD 5770.

Would I be able to play 5770 card to its optimal performance with my current system?
