My hp v155w 8gb usb drive has a capacity problem?

Hello,
i bought this drive and it works fine for some months . when i used it to make it bootable (using flash boot and novicrop win to flash) it got problem.in its property it shows 8gb but it can't store up to 4gb. in the other words i can not put data up to 4 gb in it.
i have tried to re-partitioned , and many format tools but nothing works.
plz help me with this problem.

Download this software and burn it to a CD. It is made by Seagate, but works with other brands of drives as well. It will tell you if the disk is faulty somehow.

if you are formatting it using fat16 the Max partition size is 4 gigs. I realize that's unlikely but maybe your bootable USB instructions were weird.

make sure you are formatting with ntfs or fat 32. also if you are trying to move a large file over 4 gigs I think the file size limit of fat32 is 4 gigs

It is formatted with fat 32 and I formatted it again and my space went from 7.45 to 7.43??? and there is nothing on it?? I have some large pic files...so if i make them smaller would that help ?

I had an option pop up when I formatted it to see if it was faulty and it was ok..if I download seagate do i have to burn it or could i just download it to my desktop
