Just did a bunch of research to nail down the final specs of the PC im building, I built one VERY similar to this about 3 months ago and have been generally pleased, but the change to DDR3 (in this build) and the cost of RAM has me a little nervous. I went back and forth about 10 times on either the Dual 5770's or a single 5850. Anyhow the main question is, does anyone see any glaring compatibilty problems with this build? Conversly is there anything thats junk that I should reconsider before I hit 'Purchase"?

that is a lot more power than you need, you can run 2 5770s on a good 650W unit, and 2 5870s on a 750W unit, you dont have a use for a 900W unit and dropping that will save you quite a bit.

If you are just going to be gaming you wont get a benefit out of more than 4GB of ram so you can save there too. Swap the IDE burner for a SATA burner, its just easier that way, and swap the 640GB WD for a 500GB Samsung F3, it is a fair bit faster for less.

Those are great recommendations Hunter, ill definetly do the powersupply thing, the machine im running has 8gbs of Ram in it, id like to maybe get the MA790X-UD4P that has AM/AM2/AM3 compatibility that uses DDR2 then just caniablize 4gbs of ram from this system, but I cant seem to find one or have the knowledge to find one. Ill also do the Hard drive thing and the Optical Drive thing.

Edit: After looking on newegg (i have to have the HAF932 to match my other case) Im going to prolly stick with the 900W PS as I get this combo deal:

COOLER MASTER UCP RS900-AAAAA3 900W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS SILVER Certified Power COOLER MASTER HAF 932 AMD Limited Edition AM-932-RWN1-GP Red Steel / Plastic / Mesh bezel ATX Full Tower Computer Case - -$10.00 Instant
-$130.00 Combo
Normally: $369.97
I pay: $229.97

I would get a 5850 on the place of 2 5770 because it's single gpu, and if needed in the future you can just upgrade by buying another 5850 which if you buy 2 5770 now you wont have how to upgrade later. I know 2 5770 get compared to a 5870 but I have a 5850 myself and really, it's already enough, plays everything at very high setting with good frame rates.
