hi im having a problem with the amount of RAM im being able to use , just upgraded from windows vista 32bit to windows 7 64bit and so i had 4Gb installed (3GB usable) and says 4Gb installed in the bios too so i upgraded to the 64 bit windows 7 and it still says the same 4GB installed (3gb usable).. This is quite annoying..would simply removing the memory and putting it back in work? I don't beleive the hardware can use up my whole 1gb left as its stated looking at my "Resource Monitor"

"just upgraded from windows vista 32bit to windows 7 64bit "
A clean install is when the hard drive is formatted just prior to installation.
Have you updated your chipset drivers to 64 bit ?
