Core 2 duo e6600 oc HELPPPP

hello all I want to oc my processors c2d e6600 from 2.4 ghz to 3.0 ghz at least and when i oc it do i should lift it directly or gradually because when i lift directly from 266 to 333 (the bus speed ) and voltage from 1.35000 to 1.37500, or high it does not settle ,also gradually, it does not settle and it start restart and freezes, my pc :

CPU CORE 2 DUO E6600 2.4
GPU ASUS 550 GTX TI
PSU GIGABYTE 500W
RAM KINGSTON 4GB 1333
ASRock G41M-S3
HD WD 640 GB CG

Is this your first overclock? Try reading some guides. You should rise it slowly until you reach a stable point
